Wild Hog Sausage

With the Ladies In Camo staff hog hunt last weekend we have some meat to process. We opted for a few choice cuts to package separately then the rest was ground into sausage. This sausage tastes good in multiple recipes like this one and this one.

Ingredients:

Water

Hog meat,

Hi Mountain Seasoning’s Prairie Sage or favorite sausage seasoning

Meat Grinder

Directions

Clean meat by cutting off excess fat and gristle, put meat through the meat grinder, mix seasoning with water,  put meat and seasoning mix through grinder. Allow meat to marinate overnight. Bag meat and freeze.
